Tutoriel Installation Linux sur PS3
Des tutos pour installer Linux sur la PS3 ont été rédigés en anglais ici. Je vous propose une traduction et quelques explications en français :
- Important: vous avez besoin d’une PS3 60g, d’un CD/DVD vierge et/ou d’une clé USB pour installer Linux. Ce tutoriel est pour Fedora Core 5.
Sur la PS3, vous pouvez installer la distribuction PPC de votre choix. La liste des distributions PPC est disponible sur PenguinPPC. Les distributions les plus orientées desktop à ce jour sont Ubuntu, Fedora et OpenSUSE. Cependant, il vous faudra un bootloader particulier qui n’est pas forcément disponible encore à ce jour.
- 1. Commencez donc par choisir une distribution en faisant bien attention à choisir la build PPC ou PowerPC (la plupart des liens amènent prioritairement vers les build Intel x86).
- 2. Téléchargez le fichier *ADDON.iso sur le ftp de linux.org et montez l’image (avec DaemonTools par exemple sous Windows).
- 3. Téléchargez le fichier otheros.self sur le site PS3OpenPlatform.
- 4. Dans votre clé USB ou CD vierge, créez un répertoire “PS3″ à la racine et dans ce même répertoire, un sous-répertoire “otheros” puis placez le fichier otheros.bld qui se trouve dans le répertoire /kboot/ de l’ISO ADDON.
- 5. Dans ce même répertoire placez le fichier otheros.self.
- 6. Créez une partition Linux grâce à l’utilitaire de partition dans le XMB de la PS3.
- 7. Connectez la clé USB ou/ CD.
- 8. Lancez l’utilitaire “Installation d’un OS secondaire” dans le XMB de la PS3, qui normalement détectera la clé USB / CD. Installez le bootloader.
- 9. Définissez “OS Secondaire” comme étant l’OS par défaut de la PS3.
- 10. Redemarrez la console et normalement, vous verrez un prompt. Pour installer Fedora Core, tapez “install-fc sda” (sans les quotes) puis insérez le CD/DVD de Fedora Core 5.
Pour l’installation de Linux en elle-même se réferer aux documentations officielles de votre distribution.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Start eating healthy again. Limit the crisps, doughnuts, biscuits, etc. Go for a brisk walk 3-4 times a week. Don’t continue the way you are, because you will get bigger and bigger and the longer you stay in your bad habits the harder it will be to change them. I know this from experience. I didn’t change my bad habits now I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and liver problems. The junk food and inactivity are not worth it!!

I would say yes the extra time will serve you well,I work with designers on a weekly sometimes daily baisis ,and I ccan tell you it is hard to get into,and really does’nt pay that well until you get into a large well known firm, diatetics on the other hand pays better and is much easier to find work in ,so it would be a great fall back.

If you are number 3 why not dominate the entire 1st page. You may be able to do this by using linkwheels. Link wheels can do this if done properly. In states like mine, CA our unemployment fund is close to insolvency. That means if there is a huge influx of people filing for unemployment as a result of losing their job related to the auto industry, we will not have the money in our unemployment fund to pay their benefits. But, in the end, if your job is not related to the auto industry, your state is not reliant upon taxes paid either by the workers, dealers, plants or related business, you will probably only be affected to the extent that you hear your grandchildren complaining about the high taxes they are paying toward our generation’s bailouts.

Take a test drive. Most sewing machine stores (if they want you to buy) will let you sit and sew a little. My first time back out to buy after 20 odd years, I went for a quality product and bought their low end machine. I have since upgraded (the store took mine as trade).
